Seven days, not two months

On August 19 Benjamin talked about two-month pilots. The customer says they'll get to it later. We never hear what they thought, and we've wasted a lot of time on them for nothing.

A trial of seven days is different, he said. You know that if you skip three of those days, you've wasted your own time.

The same day, Benjamin suggested asking for a small sum up front. The sum is a symbol, he said. If they won't pay even that, you've found a tire kicker before you spend a week on them.

Some companies I called said they wanted to grow big. Do you, though? I hated holding that question back. You can't ask a company that on a cold call without it sounding rude.

In Mellovy, an AI colleague works in your tools on a whole computer of its own. You get in through the waitlist or an invite from someone who's already in, not by signing up.

When the seven days are up, your colleague pauses. It doesn't start new work until you upgrade, and we never turn your trial into a subscription behind your back.

Say you ask your colleague on day one to book a meeting with a customer for Thursday. Mellovy checks your calendar, not the colleague's own report, and you still have six days left to tell us what it got wrong.
