This Cookie Notice explains how Mellovy uses cookies and similar technologies on mellovy.com. Similar technologies include browser storage such as local storage. Our Privacy Notice explains other processing of personal data.
1. What cookies and similar technologies do
These technologies store information on, or read information from, your device. They can support a feature you request, remember a choice, or help measure how a website is used. Some technologies may share information with the provider that supplies them.
2. Technologies used on mellovy.com
Mellovy groups the technologies on mellovy.com into three categories. Necessary technologies are always on because they run the site and remember your choice. Analytics and advertising technologies stay off until you turn them on in the cookie controls.
Necessary
Mellovy sets mellovy_consent to remember the choice you make in
the cookie controls. It stores whether you accepted analytics and advertising
and when you chose, and it expires after six months, after which the site asks
again. It is a first-party cookie and is not shared with any other provider.
Analytics
Mellovy uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to
measure how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, how visitors
arrive and how long a visit lasts. Google Analytics loads only after you
accept the analytics category. Mellovy keeps Google signals and ad
personalisation signals off and does not grant Google advertising storage.
Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_SFJXCXYLC1
(up to two years). See

Mellovy also uses Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, to
understand how visitors use pages through heatmaps and session recordings of
clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Clarity loads only after you accept the
analytics category. Clarity may set
_clck (up to one year) and _clsk (one day), and
Microsoft may set cookies on its own domains, such as clarity.ms.

Separately from these cookies, Mellovy’s own server counts how many times each page is opened, for every visitor, whatever you choose here. It sets no cookie, reads nothing stored on your device and keeps no identifier, only anonymous totals per page. The Privacy Notice describes what the totals contain.
Analytics and advertising
HubSpot’s website tracking technologies are enabled only if you accept the
analytics or advertising category in the cookie controls. If you decline or
leave those categories off, the tracking script is not enabled and Mellovy
does not store campaign attribution for later use. Depending on the cookie
banner and HubSpot features enabled, HubSpot may use
__hs_cookie_cat_pref and __hs_opt_out to remember
your choice (each for up to six months).
After you accept analytics tracking, HubSpot may set __hstc and
hubspotutk (up to six months), __hssc (30 minutes),
and __hssrc (for the browser session). These cookies help
recognise a visitor and measure visits and sessions. The cookies actually set
depend on the HubSpot features enabled. See

Website email form
The website's email-capture form is separate from optional tracking. When you
submit it, Mellovy sends the email address entered, the company domain derived
from that address where available, preferred language, lead-status fields, the
page name and URL, and the form's data-processing notice to HubSpot. This
submission does not depend on whether you accept analytics or advertising
cookies. The form does not include campaign identifiers. The website does not
currently store campaign attribution in local storage. It clears the legacy
mellovy:attribution key when the page loads.
3. Consent and choices
When you first visit mellovy.com, the cookie controls let you accept all categories, decline the optional ones, or choose analytics and advertising separately. Declining is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional loads before you choose. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings, which is linked in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, the website stops loading Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity and deletes their cookies from the mellovy.com domain. Declining those categories does not prevent you from submitting the website email form.

4. Legal framework
Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) sets the European rule for storing or accessing information on a user's device. In Sweden, the rule is implemented by Chapter 9, Section 28 of the Electronic Communications Act (2022:482). Personal data collected through cookies or similar technologies is also subject to the GDPR and the Swedish Data Protection Act where applicable.
